iOS 8.2 Release

This week Apple has launched their newest iOS 8.2, and it is the biggest upgrade thus far. Here we breakdown everything that comes with the new iOS update and what it includes.
Apple Watch
The update includes a mandatory app that brings compatibility with the Apple Watch which goes on sale this April. If you want one, you have no choice but to upgrade to the newest iOS.
HealthKit Upgrades
The new iOS 8.2 also comes with a number of changes to the HeathKit. It is now possible to add and visualize the workout data from third party apps, turn off motion tracking, and switch between metric and imperial measurements.

The new iOS 8.2 has additional fixes on the HealthKit platform that addresses bugs when refreshing and importing data, as well as when adding Medical ID images. There have also been some fixes to the GMT bug which switched the calendar entries to the GMT time zone. This caused chaos with scheduling, alarms, and reminders. This should no longer be an issue with the new update. The Bluetooth bugs are supposed to be much quicker and the calling issues are supposed to be completely resolved. The Maps, Mail, and Music apps have gotten a stability upgrade. Notably, Apple Maps includes a 3D Flyover feature. Apple breaks down the full list of features and updates for the new iOS 8.2.
