What if your wireless carrier told you that, in exchange for the nominal request of legally changing your name, they’d give you a free iPhone 7? Would you take them up on the offer? Well, if you would be willing to do something so off the wall like that, then you might want to also consider moving to the country of Ukraine while you’re at it, too.

After all, it appears that Allo.ua, Ukraine’s largest wireless carrier, is currently featuring perhaps the most epic iPhone 7 giveaway we’ve ever seen. If you’re one of the “first five people” to legally change your name to “Sim iPhone” — literally meaning ‘iPhone 7’ — and can verify that change by not only filing for a new passport reflecting it, but also bringing the government identification into a local Allo.ua retail store. If all the stars are aligned just so, you’ll then be given one of Apple’s hot new smartphones for just one single Ukrainian hryvnia (the equivalent of a single U.S. nickel).

Allo.ua’s website doesn’t provide any additional detail in regards to what model, color, or storage capacity will doled out pursuant with this promotion, however it does cite that black iPhones will be among the available options.

Think you’re going to get away with somehow skirting the system on this one? Think again, friends. In order to qualify for the promo, your name change needs to be legit. In addition to first snapping a selfie holding your newly printed passport, clearly reflecting the name change, participating customers will have to visit their local Allo.ua branch with the actual passport in hand for verification purposes.

I imagine that one might be hard pressed to beg the question why Ukrainian’s would even bother entertaining a promotional offer like this; however, to truly understand, one need also consider the troubling economic realities of the average Ukrainian citizen. First and foremost, the iPhone 7 in Ukraine is a scorching hot, high-ticket item — one that’s quite difficult, if not impossible, to come by for the average Ukrainian worker. Boasting a price tag of just about 23,500 hryvnias ($917 USD), while the average Ukrainian only takes in about 5,200 ($203 USD) per pay period, the typical Ukrainian would have to save every single penny from over four pay periods in order to afford an iPhone 7 in the country.

Of course, apart from the economical attributes of Ukrainian life, this whole stunt is clearly orchestrated in the name of publicity, right? The rules are insane, I think, by almost any standard. But, then again, if you’re enough of a free spirit, in enough of a dire situation to warrant making such a drastic life change, then a free iPhone 7 could be yours in a matter of just 3-4 weeks!
