Just last week, we recounted a few reports suggesting that the hotly anticipated iPhone 7 handsets would be announced, quite possibly, on Wednesday September 7th. And while those rumors weren’t 100% dependable, it appears that we were spot on after all. That’s right, folks! Straight from the horse’s mouth, we’re being told this morning that September 7th is indeed the date that iPhone fanatics should be marking off on their calendars.

In typical Apple fashion, the company released official invitations to media outlets this morning for its next big event — set to take place at the Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco, California, on Wednesday the 7th (that’s next Wednesday, by the way!) — with the keynote kicking off at 10 am Pacific Time.

As expected for quite some time now, the Cupertino-company should be unveiling a new set of iPhones — presumably dubbed iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus however, we’ll just have to see about that, right? In addition, rumors have been tossed around about the company potentially unveiling a revamped 2016 MacBook Pro, and perhaps, though not guaranteed, even an Apple Watch 2, at the same event.

As for the star of the show, Apple’s next iPhone is widely expected to retain many of the same physical materials and design elements as the current iPhone 6s and 6s Plus — however the forthcoming handsets are also slated to feature next-generation Apple A10 SoC, lack the venerable industry standard 3.5mm headphone jack, and feature new, significantly beefed up camera modules around back — with the larger, 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus slated to boast that sweet new dual-lens snapper, featuring Optical Image Stabilization, around back.

Other rumors have alluded to a new color potentially joining the iPhone family this year, in addition to the device’s slightly redesigned antenna positioning, a new force touch-sensitive home button, and possibly even a True Tone display, a la the company’s 9.7-inch iPad Pro, however this much still remains to be seen.

As for the Apple Watch 2, which could potentially be debuted on the same day, the 2nd generation wearable out of Cupertino is expected to boast a thinner chassis, feature a slew of much needed speed improvements, upgraded internals, as well as the addition of new GPS sensors used for mapping and aiding in exercise tracking.

Finally, albeit a long shot, the Silicon Valley tech-giant could be unveiling an all-new MacBook Pro that day, too — boasting a sweet new OLED Touch Bar, faster Intel processors, and a considerably redesigned external housing.

Of course, while both the Apple Watch 2 and MacBook Pro are not guaranteed to touch down on the same day, one can make a reasonable assumption based on Apple’s iPhone 6s event last year — where the company unveiled the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, alongside a slew of new Apple Watch bands, the iconic 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and a 4th generation Apple TV, all at the same event.

As always, the event will be live streamed on Apple’s website beginning at 10 am Pacific Standard Time. We will also be live-blogging the event on our Twitter, Facebook, Apple News, and Flipboard accounts all morning long.
