As usual, Apple has yet to confirm anything regarding the upcoming release of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, due to a myriad of leaks and insider information, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the new devices.

We’re pretty sure that the new devices will feature upgraded internals, re-positioned antenna lines on the back of the device, and a second set of speakers where the 3.5mm headphone jack used to be. We’re also pretty sure that the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus will feature a massively upgraded dual-lens camera, and possibly a Smart Connector on the back of the device. No one seems quite as confident regarding the colors of the devices, though. While the current crop of devices come in four color options – Space Gray, Rose Gold, Gold, and Silver, there is a fair amount of speculation that the new devices will add Space Black and Deep Blue to the color palette.

Are you salivating over the idea of a Deep Blue iPhone 7 Plus with a dual camera lens and Smart Connector? The folks over at China-based headphone company, BeSound, couldn’t wait for the official release to get a hands-on look at such a device, so they had one created themselves.

In an effort to promote their new high-fidelity, noise cancelling, Lightning earbuds, BeSound had a Deep Blue iPhone 7 Plus mockup created for their ad campaign. The headphones, which draw power from the Lightning port for active noise cancellation, feature an internal audio chip for 100% digital sound and lossless playback. BeSound is currently running an Indiegogo campaign to manufacture the headphones. The company is already over halfway to their $10,000 goal, and the publicity it is gaining from the iPhone 7 mockup is sure to push them substantially over their goal.

The mockup that BeSound had created is also featured in a YouTube video by popular YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger, whose channel Unbox Therapy has over five million subscribers. Hilsenteger gives a high-quality, hands-on look at the mockup, putting the color, camera, antenna lines, Smart Connector, and second speaker on display. He even takes digital calipers to the device, showing that the iPhone 7 Plus may be 0.04mm thinner than the iPhone 6s Plus.

The mockup provided by BeSound is, to put it simply, beautiful. Hopefully for potential customers, Apple includes the rumored features included in the mockup. And hopefully they introduce the Space Black and Deep Blue colors to the device line. We’ll find out early next month as the devices are officially launched, expected for the week of September 12th.
