The release of the next-generation iPhone is just months away, and more and more leaks are beginning to flood the web. The most recent batch of leaks, coming to us from China and France respectively, purportedly display the rear and bottom casing of the phone, which may be called the iPhone 7. The leaks, if accurate, seem to support several popular rumors surrounding the device.

The first image, which appeared on Chinese social media site Weibo, allegedly shows the rear casing of the 4.7-inch model phone. The photo displays two slight design changes from the iPhone 6s. As has been heavily rumored before, the “antenna lines” that have been so often complained about in the past have been re-arranged, now sitting along the top and bottom curves of the phone.

More importantly, is the rear camera with cutouts for the lens and CMOS sensor that are noticeably larger than in previous models. The larger lens and sensor will, theoretically, allow for better low-light photos – a sure improvement over previous camera models. The dreaded “camera bump” is, however, still present on the device.

The second set of photos come to us from French site NoWhereElse.fr, somewhat notorious for their leaked photos of Apple devices. The photos, which allegedly came to the site from Apple’s supply chain in China, show the same redesigned antenna lines and enlarged camera found in the previous set of leaks from Weibo. However, the photos from NoWhereElse also include a photo that purportedly shows the bottom casing of the device.

According to on-again-off-again rumors, the next generation iPhone will look to get rid of the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack – a rumor that has infuriated many iPhone users. If the recently leaked photos are legit, then they confirm the lack of a headphone jack, with a second grill for speakers taking its place. Rumor has it that Apple will likely include a 3.5mm to Lightning adapter with the new iPhone, allowing users to use both headphones with a traditional plug, or opt for more feature-rich headphones that come equipped with a Lightning cable.

The most recent leaks do nothing to confirm or deny the popular rumors surrounding the so-called “iPhone 7 Pro” that Apple may release – a more expensive upgrade to the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus, which may feature a Smart Connector for attaching accessories and a dual-camera setup capable of true optical zoom and DSLR-quality images. As the September release of the next round of iPhones grows nearer, however, plenty more leaks are sure to sprout up.
